World-renowned boxing trainer Freddie Roach admitted that his number one ward, Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs), fighting his former pupil, Amir Khan (31-3, 19 KOs), would be "a little bit boring" and so he wants Pac-Man to fight the current WBA (Super) and The Ring magazine light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (31-0, 18 KOs) next.

"I like Danny Garcia, I think he's the more exciting fight," Roach said, via Boxing Scene. "Amir Khan and (Pacquiao) have too much of a similar style where it might be a little boring - with two in and out boxers with good speed and so forth. I think Danny Garcia comes to fight. I think he looks for knockouts. I like his style and I think he and Pacquiao would be a good matchup."

While Garcia was reportedly offended by Roach's recent comments that he is the "easiest fight in the world" right now for Manny, the 27-year-old undefeated American said that he is ready to fight the eight-division world champion anytime and anywhere.

However, Garcia also admitted that he is not sure if the fight with Pacquiao would be possible because of the current differences between their promoters Bob Arum and Al Haymon.

Boxing News 24 reported that Arum had recently filed a $100 million lawsuit against Haymon with regards to the Premier Boxing Champions fight cards that the latter is handling.

The Top Rank chief believes that Haymon was trying to monopolize the whole boxing industry by acting as the "manager, promoter, sponsor, and ticket broker" for all the major fights currently happening in the United States, which he said was a violation to the "Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act, the Sherman Act, and a host of other state and federal laws."

With the debacle, Garcia is uncertain how the fight would push through, which means that it is not expected to take place at all. Roach might have overlooked the legal issue between the two promoters when he made those remarks public.

Meanwhile, Bleacher Report noted that some boxing experts actually think that a Pacquiao-Khan fight would be "fun" to watch.

With Khan's Pacquiao-like hand speed and footwork, not to mention his familiarity with the former pound-for-pound champion, the Briton can indeed give the Filipino pugilist a lot of trouble if ever they do face each other.
