2014 Emmy Presenters Announced: Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, and Adam Levine Make The List

This year's lineup for the Emmy Awards has begun to come together with Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Halle Berry, and more being announced as the presenters for the upcoming event.

Executive producer Don Mischer confirmed this Monday that 13 celebrities will be presenting the trophies for awards night on August 25.

The three actors who have received their own Oscars in the past also have television credentials. While Berry is currently featured in the "Extant" series, McConaughey has been nominated for his performance in "True Detective". Roberts is also up for honors for the TV movie "The Normal Heart", also starring Jim Parsons.

Similarly, many of the other chosen trophy presenters have been nominated in their respective Emmy categories themselves.

Other presenters will include Emmy nominees Bryan Cranston who has snagged a nomination for Lead Actor in a Drama for "Breaking Bad" by AMC. Competing in the same category is fellow presenter Woody Harrelson for the HBO series "True Detective".

Julia Louis-Dreyfus of HBO's "Veep" and Amy Poehler from "Parks and Recreation" of NBC have been nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy; both have been confirmed as trophy presenters as well.

Kerry Washington, nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama for ABC's "Scandal" has also graced the confirmed list of celebrity presenters.

Fellow presenter Jim Parsons has snagged two nominations, one for Lead Actor in a Comedy (CBS' "The Big Bang Theory") and the other for Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie (HBO's "The Normal Heart').

Other celebrities on trophy duties include Zooey Deschanel who is currently starring in FOX's "New Girl", Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani from NBC's "The Voice", and Julianna Marguilies of CBS' "The Good Wife".

Hosted by Seth Meyers, the 66th Emmy Awards will be aired on NBC on a Monday night instead of the typical Sunday event. The switch was deemed appropriate to make way for the MTV Video Music Awards and NBC's "Sunday Night Football".
