Toyota has been one of the largest brands of car makers and with their massive line of models being updated and added every year, it's not surprising that their trusted and environmental friendly Prius is getting the update.

According to the Christian Post, the 2016 Toyota Prius, launched in Las Vegas, Nevada in September, hype up the consumers, Car and Driver's official Twitter account posted "2016 Toyota Prius Caught Totally Naked Just Days Before Official Launch," along with the post is an image of two 2016 Prius Hybrid.

The occasion featured these new hybrids and left it to the media to make the necessary advertising. The new 2016 Toyota Prius is being dubbed by the Japanese maker as the "next era of an icon." The revelation has been the car maker's effort to let the public know of the upcoming hybrid.

According to the Master Herald, the leaked photo of the 2016 Toyota Prius circulated the internet prior to the actual reveal of Toyota. With its physical profile all set to have been seen by the media and consumers, all there is left to say is what's under the hood and its likely added features.

The invited media got their first hand of all the information Toyota gave. The 2016 Toyota Prius is expected to be available in the market a month after its launch date.  With an all wheel drive option, the Prius Hybrid is also expected to have a "nickel metal hybrid-battery pack" on a lithium ion-battery. In a more detailed description by Green Car Reports, the 2016 Toyota Prius is said to have a sleeker shape, low nose and the not so conventional "mirai-like" tail of the new hybrid car. If the photos were to be based on, the silver and black shades offer a rather shiny and sleek profile for the new set of hybrids.
