Retired unbeaten world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has taken a jab at the humbled former UFC Women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey in the aftermath of her humiliating knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday.

Bleacher Report shared a photo of an Instagram post by rapper 50 Cent, a close friend of Mayweather, showing Rousey's bloodied on-fight image superimposed onto a Rocky IV movie clip when Sylvester Stallone's title character was holding a well-beaten up and dying Apollo Creed and Tony Burton's Duke character seemed wailing in a separate frame above.

The photograph's caption read "lmao Floyd told me to post this, he wants me to do the dirty work".

Mayweather has been engaged in trash talks with Rousey since last year. Their feud reached its peak when the undefeated pay-per-view boxer said that he does not "even know who he is", referring to Rousey using a male pronoun.

Their war of words even led to clamor for the two fighters to be put inside a ring to see who will win in a no holds barred fight, which obviously is not going to happen.

Just recently, Fox Sports reported that Mayweather replied "Oh, I don't know. I don't speak on nobody's situation" when he was asked for a comment regarding Rousey's shocking knockout defeat during a recent Los Angeles Lakers game.

"Just in boxing period, contact sports period, you win some and you lose some. I don't know about this fight, I just know that you win some and you lose some. It basically comes with the territory," Mayweather added, seemingly being extra careful with the words leaving his mouth this time.

It's unclear, however, if Money is being sarcastic about Rousey's first professional loss as he retired from the fighting game with a perfect 49-0 record.

To be fair, Mayweather has not made any direct jibe on the fallen women's champ, although a lot of people are waiting for him to do so as he had done with Manny Pacquiao when he defeated him in May.
