Genius Girl Yan Jiashuo Becomes Youngest Winner of Grand Master of Memory

(Photo : Gettyimages) A 10-year-old Chinese girl has been awarded the Grand Master of Memory for her impressive ability to memorize things in a short time.

An amazing 10-year old girl from Jinan, China, has overcome her competitors at the 24th World Mental Capacity Tournament in Chengdu, setting all-new records in the process. Yan Jiashuo has been awarded the Grand Master of Memory because of her performance. 

Yan was able to memorize an astounding 1080 sequences of numbers and 646 random sequences of poker cards in an hour.

Over the course of 10 events, she managed to achieve a record breaking score of over 3000 points, fending off several of her far older competitors. Thanks to her magnificent memory, Yan managed to net the silver medal in the children's event and the bronze during the poker card event. 

Netizens comments were generally positive, giving commendation and appreciation to the girl's amazing talent.
