A Reddit app will now be visible during playtime on Xbox One.

Microsoft rolled out the Reddx app for Xbox One as part of their newly August update on the 19th.

ReddX app is the first Reddit app created for a gaming console. It's designed to work with the special features on Xbox One like Snap and voice commands.

Larry Hryb, spokesperson for Xbox, said in his blog that ReddX users can login to their Reddit accounts to view all their favorite subreddits.

Users can upvote, downvote and make comments on posts via the Xbox controller, or on their mobile phone, tablets, and laptops with Xbox SmartGlass that let users to control the console remotely.

ReddX can display all kinds of multimedia, including animated GIFs, images and even YouTube videos.

Gamers and users can also pan and zoom into images, scroll through a gallery, save a photo to their profile or make the image as their background on ReddX. They can also read text while playing.

The ReddX app works with the Kinect's voice commands. It lets users show up different subreddits or upvote and downvote threads.

It can also snap to the side of the screen so gamers can begin a game and still keep up with Reddit.

Redditors can interact with each other akin to reddit.com

ReddX app is free. Users can now combine their Reddit experience with Xbox One.

It's currently available only in the United States and Canada.
