Nintendo chief executive Tatsumi Kimishima recently disclosed additional information about some of the company's upcoming mobile games, its overhauled loyalty program and the much anticipated NX console.

Nintendo has been constantly lagging behind two gaming titans, Sony and Microsoft. The company is also putting more effort in order to make it big in its home market, Japan, by focusing more on the mobile gaming platform.

Nintendo posted a 30 percent earnings drop in the last quarter. It was one of the biggest drop in the history of the company. On top of that, Nintendo also lost one of its greatest innovator, Satoru Iwata, who died in July 2015 after a long bout with cancer.

In a statement acquired by Venture Beat, Kimishima said, "I do not plan on revealing any information today regarding NX, the dedicated game system with a brand new concept which is currently under development."

While Kimishima's statement was a huge disappointment for many fans eager to know about the console's development status, some tech analysts believe that Nintendo is keeping everything under the radar in order to build up the hype for the NX console.

According to The Wall Street Journal, tech analysts are expecting Nintendo to unveil the NX console in spring and will probably hit the market in latter part of the year.

Kimishima also revealed that Nintendo will launch its membership service called My Nintendo in March. This will replace the old Club Nintendo loyalty program.

The launch of My Nintendo will also coincide with the release of the company's first mobile game, "Miitomo." The game was developed by Nintendo through its partnership with game developer DeNA.

"Miimoto" will be released first in Japan and will subsequently find it way to 15 other countries by the end of March.
