As for the price of the Premium Edition, there's still no word on how much the device will cost and when exactly it will be available in the European market.

Specs-wise, the Honor 7 Premium Edition is anticipated to come with the same features as the original model. It will sport a 5.2-inch display screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution.

The device will have a powerful 20 megapixel camera on the back and an 8 megapixel camera on the front. Under the hood, it packs the company's HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a large 3,100 mAh battery.

The Chinese tech giant recently launched its latest Huawei Honor 5X mid-range handset in multiple markets in Europe, after launching the device in the U.S. on Jan. 31.

The Honor 5X is available in the U.K., France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, among other nations.

Huawei also announced that it shipped over 10 million P8 Lite smartphones in about nine months, and around 108 million of its smartphones in 2015. In addition, last month, the company achieved a new record by shipping some 12 million units within that period alone.
