Amazon and Walmart is Now Offering TCL 32-inch Roku HDTV for Only $169.99

Chinese television manufacturer TCL unveiled its latest set of HDTVs last month at the 2016 Consumers Electronic Show, including the Roku HDTV - a result of its partnership with Roku. Amazon and Walmart are now offering a special promo for the TCL 32-inch Roku HDTV, which is now priced at $169.99.

This promo will only run for a limited time, so visit these two websites while supplies are still available. The TCL 32-inch Roku HDTV was originally listed for $289.99 and has more recently been selling for $199.99. The 32-inch Roku TV only supports 720p resolution with a60hz refresh rate - not 1080p.

Meanwhile, TCL Roku HDTV comes in three variants including the 32-inch, 40-inch, and 50-inch model. The 40-inch flat-screen measures a dimension of 36.5 in. x 21.4 in. x 2 in with a glass base. At the back of the television are three HDMI 1.4 ports, an optical audio S/PDIF port 1 USB port, and a headphone jack. The traditional AV input port is also supported on this TV.

What makes this television more interesting is that it features a built-in Roku ecosystem, which means users can access thousands of content as long as the TV is connected to the Internet. The smart TV also features must have apps such as Hulu Plus, Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Instant Video, HBO Go and Crackle. This TV also supports several food channels show and anime channels such as Crunchyroll.

According to the company, users can access over 1,000 streaming apps through Roku. Popular application such as Vudu, TED Talks, Epix, Google Play Movies & TV are also supported on this television.  For music lovers, Pandora, Spotify and Rdio are also part of the Roku app playlist.

Moreover, TCL Roku TV plays Amazon Instant Video natively whereas Apple TV cannot and requires an iOS 8 device with a cumbersome and potentially laggy AirPlay exchange.
