Chinese telecommunications giant ZTE has introduced the Mamorino watch exclusively in Japan and is aiming to make a wider release in March this year. Mamorino watch offers unique, easy-to-operate features like a speech recognition and a touch panel. Parents will be at ease since they can easily know where their children are at any given time with the help of GPS system installed on the watch.

This technology may seem like an invasion of privacy for teens, but is very useful for young children since they easily get lost and wander away with parents unknowledgeable of their whereabouts. It will allow parents to easily keep track, supervise, and monitor their children's movements and whereabouts and thus give them peace of mind.

Not only can Mamorino watch track movement, it can also be used to send text messages. Users can make voice calls directly on the watch itself with the capability of its Voice over LTE. Unlike mobile phones, which can easily get lost, the watch is strapped to the hand of young children.

Mamorino watch may be the first of many devices that makes use of the technology called Voice over LTE. The device is very eye catching because it is colorful and this will surely make it very popular among kids. ZTE in Japan has not yet confirmed if a worldwide release is being planned for the Mamorino watch.
