Chris Martin Teams up with Stella McCartney to take the ALS Challenge from Gwyneth Paltrow

Late last week, Gwyneth Paltrow took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and she nominated her ex-husband Chris Martin. Martin then posted a video of him and fashion designer Stella McCartney, who was also nominated by Paltrow, taking the challenge.

The video started with Chris saying that "We've been nominated to do the ice bucket challenge" to which Stella replies saying: "I'm a fashion designer. I am not going to get wet." Martin was holding a large black umbrella and he started to lower it saying that they won't be doing it. However, a bucket full of ice water came from above and the pair was soaked instantly.

The two then announced their nominees. Chris nominated Bono and Paul McCartney while Stella nominated Angelina Jolie.

The video was first posted on Facebook in the official page of Coldplay. The video was captioned: "I was nominated by Gwyneth Paltrow and Shakira to do the‪#‎ALSIceBucketChallenge (please donate to The ALS Association athttp://www.alsa.org/donate/). CM". Stella later uploaded the video on her Instagram page and captioned it with: "My ice bucket challenge with Chris Martin to support ALS thanks to Gwyneth!"

Stella added that she did the challenge to stop animal drug testing. She wrote: '"I'd like to challenge and encourage the ALS association to switch all future experiment testing to strictly non animal testing please! @gwynethpaltrow @paulmccartney#chrismartin #angelinajolie #bono #icebucketchallenge #ALS #PETA".

The first star who did the challenge for stopping animal testing was Pamela Anderson. The star took it to Facebook to explain about animal testing and has called it unfruitful. Pamela then urged fans to support charities that do not harm animals.

Chris and Stella are the latest stars who have taken the challenge. The most famous ice bucket challenges were from Justin Bieber, who did it twice, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, the Foo Fighters and Lil Wayne.
