Based on the gathered details by the news site, the said outfit, which will be based in Beijing and Los Angeles, will be producing Chinese-language films that will tap the lucrative movie industry of China. Accordingly, the "Chinese backers" of Anthony and Joe Russo have allocated between $200 million and $300 million to help fund the studio's maiden projects, a source claimed. Apart from it, United Entertainment Partners has likewise committed to take charge in the distribution of its films in China.

In the meantime, it was learned that with such move by the Russo brothers in China, Anthem & Song is aiming to come up with two films in Chinese language by the end of 2017.

As narrated by the directing duo, the project was conceived when they visited Beijing in 2014 to promote "Captain America: Winter Solider."

"We made a lot of friends on that trip and just fell in love with Chinese cinema," Joe Russo recalled. "We made a bunch of personal trips back to Beijing to nurture and grow those relationships in the film business there."

In 2015, it was noted that China's box office, which the Russo brothers would like to explore further, recorded an increase of 49 percent and this is projected to even surpass North America for being the world's largest theatrical market by next year.
