The Israeli government has not yet made any official statements on the account as Egyptian authorities mediated to initiate ceasefire.

As of July 8, Palestinian health officials have reported 2,125 death toll including 490 deceased children on the course of firing rocket bombs on the Gaza territory. Consequently, four civilians and 64 Israeli soldiers were killed.

One of the tallest 13-storey apartments in the city that was home to 70 families was stripped off to the side. Evacuations from shopping centers and other neighboring residential areas commenced immediately to avoid further loss of lives.

Today's attack is a precursor to an initial strike on Monday, where more than 130 rockets and mortar bombs were activated, according to a military informant.

Hamas, a Palestinian Islamic movement, assumed responsibility at Tel Aviv. The attack was soon disabled by Israel's Iron Dome interceptor. Despite continued unrest in this part of the Middle East, experts say that the opposing parties could be edging towards another ceasefire.

According to the latest intelligence reports, Israel is targeting large buildings that are potentially "terrorist infrastructure" in the agenda to disintegrate Hamas.

A senior military officer confirmed that the Israeli government is in fact in the process of striking buildings containing the group's operational hubs. The official said that such activity was first consulted to military lawyers and were only carried out upon massive alert to the affected population.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appealed to Gaza residents to evacuate as far as they can from the Hamas militants to prevent the increase of collateral damage. A number of peace talks were initiated in the past including attempts of cease fire but gap between Israeli government and Gaza militants continues to worsen.
