Microsoft has finally announced the Windows 10 Mobile OTA update release and confirmed the list of devices which will receive the Windows 10 Mobile OS upgrade.

It has been months in the making and users will now get the real deal, not just the beta version. The Redmond tech giant revealed the update in November 2015, but the roll out was consistently delayed until now.

According to reports, the devices to get the upgrade first starting March 18 are: Lumia 1520, Lumia 930, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 635 1GB, Lumia 63u6 1GB, Lumia 638 1GB, Lumia 430, Lumia 435, BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, and MCJ Madosma Q501.

These phones will receive the Windows 10 Mobile with 10586.164 build, which was earlier released to Insider program members. The phones may get the update on different dates.

Microsoft has started shipping the new Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, Lumia 550 and Lumia 650 handsets with preinstalled Windows Mobile 10 OS. The company also said that several Windows Phone 8.1 devices which run the Windows 10 Mobile preview may still not get the final version because some of the new Windows 10 Mobile features may not smoothly run on these devices.

Microsoft has yet to roll out the Windows 10 upgrade to Windows RT tablets and it may reveal more details about it soon. New Windows 10 Mobile update features include Cortana, Windows Hello and Continuum.
