The speculated thinner MacBook unit is expected to be released between the second and third quarter of 2016, recent rumors claimed.

While it appeared definite that Apple is currently working on "ultra-thin MacBooks," that are anticipated to be available in 13 inches and 15 inches screen, there have been no official announcements yet if such is indeed the Pro version.

However, amid this scenario, Mac Rumors sounded convinced that what the company is going to come up with this time is indeed the MacBook Pro model.

It was noted that since the MacBook Air's fate is somehow unknown these days and the MacBook line already has the12-inch variant, it is most likely that the Pro model will finally get an upgrade in 2016.

Accordingly, the highly-anticipated model of the American tech giant's laptop brand would feature a design that is comparable to the 12-inch MacBook, but thinner than the current MacBook Air.

In a mocked up unit created by designer Martin Hajek for the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro that consumers are awaiting to be released in 2016, several users expressed disappointment.

The negative comments emanated from the supposed design which includes the conceptual version of "MacOS" smaller side bezels and thinner chassis.

Commenting on the report, a certain reader named RossMak wrote, "They look awful."

"What's up with the strange placement of the keyboard?" Fzang commented.

As for Creep89, "Oh god no, please no. I need my 15-inch to be a quad core i7 and please 32GB of RAM this time. No one needs a smaller MacBook Pro with worse specs."

Meanwhile, several comments hit the keyboard placement of the anticipated MacBook Pro 2016, which was presumably patterned after the various rumors.

"That keyboard placement though. Seriously no. Just no," LotusLord pointed out.
