Could it be true that two instalments of "Call of Duty" would already be part of the list of Xbox One backwards compatible games?

Based on the latest rumors, "Black Ops 2" and "Modern Warfare 2" will be among the latest titles to be included in the long list of games that can be played via Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.

Back in March, The Tech Game was the first to hint about the supposed arrival of the said games.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, a leak about the possible release of "Call of Duty's" highly-anticipated title "Modern Warfare 2" was shared, according to the Inquistr.

"WOW - Strong rumors suggesting MW2 Backwards Compatibility coming to XBOX ONE! (Image leaked earlier by mistake)," user Black Ops 3 (@PlayBlackOps3) captioned his post of the leaked image.

In the meantime, it was disclosed that "Black Ops 2" has already been officially marked "In Progress" for the Xbox One backwards compatible games list.

According to the site, it is not impossible for the two well-loved titles to be out soon especially that game developers and Microsoft did such move as well for other favourite games such as "Dark Souls," "Fallout 3" and "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition."

As with "Quantum Break," which was released on Tuesday for the compatibility program, has reportedly outperformed "Ryse: Son of Rome" in terms of sales, Daily Star UK reported.

Microsoft even announced that it is the "biggest selling, new Microsoft Studios IP this generation."

Keep posted for more games set for release under the Xbox One backwards compatibility program.
