Huawei has announced the availability of its two watches – Elegant and Jewel – in the United States stores.

The Chinese telecommunications company Elegant and Jewel are the company’s shot at appealing directly to female smartwatch owners. Jewel and Elegant are internally identical to the standard Huawei Watch but externally try to conform to women's watch design. There is a lot of gold plating, narrower bands in colors and textures that are not 'black' and 'boring', respectively.

The Huawei Watch Jewel and Huawei Watch Elegant are both identical to the original model in terms of electronics. But they feature a more feminine design, including a rounded, textured crown button (at the same 2 o'clock position) and textured leather bands in blue or white.

The Elegant features a rose-gold plated body and the Jewel has a bunch of Swarovski Zirconia crystals running around its face.

“It complements outfits for any occasion, whether it’s an important business meeting or gala of the season,” Huawei said on a statement.

Both the Huawei Watch Elegant and Jewel are crafted with 316L cold-forged stainless steel. Sporting scratch resistant two-lawyer Sapphire crystal, both the models feature similar hardware specifications under the hood.

The Huawei Watch sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a 400 x 400 resolution. Huawei’s smartwatch runs on the latest Android Wear operating system. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset, has a 300 mAh battery, 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. The Huawei Watch can also be paired with an iPhone.

In addition, it has built-in fitness tracking and heart rate monitoring sensors. The wearable device supports Google Now voice control. However, it device does not support any mobile payment system.

Interested buyers can get these two Huawei watches at Best Buy, Newegg, and B&H Photo. Both Best Buy and Newegg are selling the Elegant model for $449.99 and the Jewel for $549.99. B&H has a price tag of $499.99 and $599.99 respectively, but will include a $50 gift card with the purchase.
