Bottom two squads Yanbian Funde FC (1-4-2, 5 points) and Changchun Yatai FC (0-5-2, 2 points) will look to improve each one's standings in the young 2016 Chinese Super League season as they clash at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium on Sunday, May 8th.

The two clubs occupy the bottom two relegation spots as of the moment as they had been struggling to find wins seven matchdays into the current term.

Yanbian Funde is coming off a horrendous 0-3 loss to powerhouse team Shanghai SIPG FC at the Shanghai Stadium on April 29th, via Soccerway.

Head coach Park Tae-ha's boys were unable to answer with any goals against the Red Eagles, who had a brace from former Guangzhou Evergrande striker Elkeson at the ninth and 45th+1 minutes and a goal from vice-captain Wang Shenchao at the 14th to complete their three-goal haul.

Both teams were unable to score in the second half as last season's Chine League One winners succumbed to their third consecutive loss this season.

Meanwhile, cellar dwellers Changchun Yatai are still winless after seven tries this season. Their last match was a 0-2 defeat in the hands of contending squad Jiangsu Suning FC at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center also on April 29th, as per China.org.

Jiangsu's local players Ren Hang and Ji Xiang provided the goals for the hosts at the eighth and 52nd minutes as Changchun lost for the fifth time this season.

It was also the second straight defeat for manager Slaviša Stojanovič's side after settling for a 1-1 draw with Chongqing Lifan two matchdays ago.

The predicted result is a tough 1-0 victory for Yanbian Funde. Changchun extends their losing slide to three games and remains winless in the current term.
