Based on the report released by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the American tech giant is planning to come up with a "revamped" top-of-the-line MacBook Pro in 2016 that will be available in 13-inch and 15-inch variants.

According to Kuo, the updates that will be incorporated in the new products will be the "most significant upgrade ever undertaken by Apple."

"While long overlooked, the MacBook line is the brightest spot for Apple's 2016 rollouts," Kuo said. "This is particularly true of the two new MacBook Pro models, to be introduced in 4Q16, as they will have a thinner and lighter form factor, Touch ID, use OLED display touch bar (to replace physical function keys, located above the keyboard) and adopt USB- C / Thunderbolt 3."

As revealed by the report's MacBook Pro 2016 rumors, the new "thin and light" design of the highly-anticipated models will be feasible via the new metal injection mold-made hinges. These will also come with the butterfly mechanism keyboards that were first introduced through the 12-inch MacBook.

Furthermore, to make more consumers even more excited about the release of the new MacBook Pro units, it was speculated as well that they will already come with the Touch ID that are being used in certain iPhone models.

Keep posted for more MacBook Pro 2016 rumors before they head to your doorstep towards the end of this year.
