Avid fans of MTV's hit series "Teen Wolf" have been on the ground to get any information about the cast in the upcoming sixth installment. Latest information concern Dylan O'Brien and Harry Styles.

Star O'Brien might not come back for another season since he is still recuperating after sustaining injuries while shooting his next film "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure." The actor sustained injuries last February and while he is reportedly fine and recovering, production for the film had been postponed, according to Bustle.

In addition, "Teen Wolf" Season 6 even had a new release date later than the initially announced.

Reports also indicate that O'Brien's other projects were postponed, probably including his turn in "Teen Wolf." 

Currently, Arden Chuo, who plays Kira's character, was the first among the cast members to be confirmed not coming back for Season 6. Meanwhile, there had been speculations that Harry Styles, a former member of the British boy band One Direction, would feature in the show as a new character. Allegedly, there was an interview with showrunner Jeff Davis claiming that Styles would be introduced in Season 6 of the show.

However, latest information reveals that the Styles rumors were not true and the reported interview never happened but entirely fabricated. Even if these speculations were true, it still might not be rational for the series to have someone as famous as Styles.

Analysts argue that bringing such big names just for the sake of them being popular might turn out to be a liability to the series as opposed to being an asset, according to Cartermatt. Including such big names might make the show to concentrate more on the famous actors rather than the story of the characters that would be portrayed.
