The inaugural match of the UEFA Euro 2016 will be played between hosts France and Romania at the Stade de France stadium in Saint-Denis on Friday night.

France and Romania have been drawn with Switzerland and Albania in Group A of the European competition.

The in-form French national football team is likely to dominate over Romania in Friday's Group A match-up. French coach, Didier Deschamps, however asked his players not to underestimate their opponents.

"What is an easy draw? An easy draw is when you have won the matches, that is all. I suppose you are going to tell me that we could have got more renowned opponents. Romania are not flashy, is that it? But they didn't qualify by accident, and neither did Albania nor Switzerland," Deschamps said ahead of the Euro 2016 opener.

Romania, which failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup, booked a place in the Euro 2016 comfortably and remained undefeated in the qualifying stages of the upcoming tournament. Coach Anghel Lordanescu came out of retirement to manage the Romanian side.
