China's reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) and International flyweight titlist Zou Shiming is set to take on orthodox Hungarian boxer Jozsef Ajtai on Saturday at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The 35-year-old Chinese boxing sensation will make his debut in the United States with a 10-round flyweight non-title fight against the 19-year-old. The bout presents a great opportunity for Shiming and will give the boxer a strong career boost in his pursuit of a world title.

According to Bob Arum's Top Rank, the boxing promotion outfit that signed the two-time Olympic champion, a victory in the U.S. will take Zou a step closer to getting the qualification required to challenge for a world title match later in Autumn.

The Chinese boxer will enter the upcoming undercard bout with a professional record of seven wins and one loss. Shiming's wins include two spectacular victories that came by way of knockouts. He knocked out South American champion Natan Santana Coutinho to claim the WBO International flyweight title last January in Shanghai, China.

The 157 centimeter tall Ajtai has a professional boxing record of 15 victories and two defeats. The Kiskunfelegyhazan native has already scored 10 sensational knockout victories and has won five out of his last six fights.

Shiming recently vowed to win a professional title to honor the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, who recently passed away after a 32-year-old battle with Parkinson's disease.

"I planned to go visit my idol Mr. Muhammad Ali after winning a professional bout. But now, I can only pray he is at peace in heaven, and free from illness and pain," he shared on social media.
