Middling team Beijing Guoan FC (3-4-4, 13 points) and bottom two squad Changchun Yatai FC (2-6-3, 9 points) are set to take on one another at the Workers' Stadium this Sunday, June 12 for a 2016 Chinese Super League season game.

Beijing is currently on a two-game unbeaten run to climb to eighth place from near the bottom of the league table after starting the season with four losses and three draws in their first nine games.

The club had to sack former head coach Alberto Zaccheroni, an ex-Milan champion manager, following their 0-2 loss to newly-promoted side Hebei China Fortune in the ninth round to induce necessary changes this term and go back to their free-scoring ways.

In nine games under Zaccheroni, the Imperial Guards' familiar high-scoring attack seemed to have been held back as they were shut out in five out of nine games and have also scored only seven in the same period.

Now, Guoan is led by manager Xie Feng and so far the team is undefeated in two matches.

Beijing blanked perennial powerhouse Shandong Luneng, 2-0, in the previous round on the road in Jinan, which is a good sign for the capital city squad, as per Sofa Score.

Meanwhile, lowly squad Changchun Yatai is slowly finding hope in the season after going on a two-game winning streak as they pulled off consecutive 1-0 victories in their last two assignments.

The most recent one is a 1-0 triumph over another struggling team, Shijiazhuang Ever Bright, at their home field of Development Area Stadium on May 29, via Soccerway. Prior to that, head coach Lee Jang-soo's boys defeated Guangzhou R&F at the Yuexiushan Stadium with an identical score of 1-0.

Despite the winning run, Changchun is still in the bottom two relegation area and a win over Beijing will help them climb out of it.

The predicted result is another 2-0 win for Beijing Guoan.
