Drake dominated the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards 2016 on Sunday, as he brought home five major trophies.

Drake received Video of the Year for Hotline Bling, Most BuzzWorthy Canadian, Director of the Year, and Hip-Hop Video of the Year.

The 29-year-old rapper also received the MuchFact Video of the Year for his collaboration with Majid Jordan, My Love.

Unfortunately, Drake didn't make it to the event to receive his five awards.

Moreover, Drake's album, Views, still tops the Billboard charts, but he's not the only one who won big.

Alessia Cara had seven nominations for her song Here and won the Best New Canadian Artist award.

The Weeknd also received six nominations and secured Canadian Single of the Year recognition for Can't Feel My Face.

Other big winners at the awards were Fifth Harmony (Most Buzzworthy International Artist or Group) and Justin Bieber (Fan Fave Artist or Group).

Meanwhile, Alessia Cara and the hip-hop duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performed at the event.

Hailee Steinfeld also graced the stage with a very entertaining performance of Keep on Coming Back For More with Shawn Hook.

Many pop giants graced the red carpet with style, glitz, and glamor.

Nick Jonas arrived looking dapper in casual attire.

The girls from the Fifth Harmony - Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui - impressed everyone when they arrived via an Inkas Sentry APC armored vehicle.

Calgary natives Tegan and Sara also arrived in an original way, aboard a double-decker London-style bus, while Marianas Trench rode a golf cart.

Gigi Hadid hosted the awards show.
