The device will be available for sale via e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart on August 1 priced at $168. It will be available in silver and gold variants.

The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that the much-awaited smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM. Earlier it was reported that the Vibe K5 Note would be launched with 2GB of RAM.

Lenovo India recently shared a teaser of the Vibe K5 Note on social media. "With so much RAM at your disposal, the only thing you'll worry about on the Killer Note 5 is running out of apps," the company tweeted.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note was released early this year in China. The device was also launched in Thailand early this month.

The Lenovo' K4 Note was launched in India in January this year and faced stiff competition from Xiaomi's Redmi Note 3 and the Le Eco 1 and Le 2. It appears to have failed to deliver the expected results for the company. Lenovo India is now looking to have the upper hand over its competitors with the Vibe K5 Note.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It features 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

The device has a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 HD resolution and 13MP primary camera with dual-LED flash and 8MP selfie camera.

The Lenovo smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with dual SIM. It also features a 3,500mAh battery.
