Head coach Park Tae-ha's side is coming off a tough 2-1 nipping of Shandong Luneng Taishan FC also at their home ground in Yanji City on July 30, as per Xinhuanet.

Local midfielder Chi Zhongguo opened the scoring right at the stroke of halftime from a brilliant cross by South Korean forward Kim Seung-dae as the hosts took a one-point advantage at the break.

Meanwhile, Shanghai SIPG was held to a 3-3 draw by Guangzhou R&F on the road at the Yuexiushan Stadium on July 31, via Soccerway.

Right winger Wu Lei unleashed a hat trick to help head coach Sven-Göran Eriksson's squad avoid a second straight loss as the Blue Lions led 3-2 after the full time whistle blew.

Brazilian winger Renatinho scored the first goal at the 17th before Wu netted his first two goals as the Red Eagles took a 2-1 advantage after 50 minutes of play.

Guangzhou scored twice after that, courtesy of Wang Song and former Maccabi Tel Aviv captain Eran Zahavi, but Wu scored his third goal in stoppage time to salvage the draw.
