Hideo Kojima, creator of the highly successful Metal Gear Solid series of games, has reportedly left Konami to start his own studio.

The annual Game Awards took place on Thursday, Dec. 3 and this year's ceremony was marred by shocking revelations and news. The biggest news that shocked the entire gaming community was that Konami banned "Metal Gear" creator Hideo Kojima from attending the awards night.
