Following the release of his Pathcode teaser video for his group's upcoming comeback, South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO member Byun Baekhyun has returned to Instagram after almost none months of not updating.

According to media outlets, Baekhyun has last updated his Instagram account with a selfie in June 2014. However, on June 19 of 2014, the news of his relationship with label mate and Girls' Generation member Kim Taeyeon, he has only updated fans with an apology which he later deleted.

Since then, he has not uploaded any photos, and according to some sources, his managing company, SM Entertainment, gave him instructions not to log in to his social networking service accounts.

After nine months of no updates, Baekhyun has surprised fans with a photo of himself - a silhouette of himself against a scenic backdrop in Spain, where his Pathcode teaser video was shot. The 22-year old South Korean idol captioned his photo, "WE ARE ____," encouraging fans to complete the sentence of EXO's slogan "We are one."

Supporters of the group have then welcomed him back in said SNS platform while others have left warm comments and words of support for Baekhyun, who is also one of EXO's main vocalists.

The previous month, Baekhyun was briefly spotted on Instagram and followed back his fellow EXO members after going on an unfollowing spree. His girlfriend, Taeyeon, also did the same late last year which led to speculations that the two were facing a rough patch in their relationship.

Other netizens have speculated that both Baekhyun and Taeyeon quit using their Instagram accounts since the announcement of their relationship has not been positively welcomed by their followers.

On the one hand, it said that Baekhyun is about to reach a new mile stone after garnering more than 3 million followers on Instagram.
