Cissy Houston is still hopeful that her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Brown will recover. However, she knows she has to face reality. Whitney Houston's mother sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight and opened up about the current condition of Bobbi Kristina Brown.

The 81-year old former mother-in-law of singer Bobby Brown shared that Bobbi Kristina's condition is the same. "She's not progressing at all," she told Kevin Frazier.

While she says that it's difficult to see Bobbi Kristina in her current state, she also knows that the aspiring singer isn't gone yet. However, she did look ready should Bobbi Kristina heartbreakingly pass away.

Although it will be hard for her, she continued to say that it's the Lord's decision and that she'll understand. "I'll make it. I made it through Whitney, I'll make it," she added.

Bobbi Kristina, who recently turned 22 on March 4, was found face down and unconscious in the bathtub in her Atlanta home on January 31 in a strangely similar way her mother died in February of 2012. She was then placed in a medically-induced coma and was transferred to a rehab center where she can receive long-term care in March. Her family has never left her side and continues to hold vigils.

Houston expressed her gratitude to the people who continue to pray for Bobbi Kristina and shared that she visits Bobbi Kristina everyday to talk to her and pray for her. "All I can do is hope for the best," she added.

Houston's most recent update on Bobbi Kristina's condition comes a day after it was confirmed that Bobby and Whitney's sister-in-law Pat Houston were appointed as Bobbi Kristina's co-guardians. As co-guardians, they now have the authority to make medical decisions for Bobbi Kristina.

As for Houston's reaction to the latest development, she said that it was fine as they are a family who always "works together for the best."
