GoPro has announced two new camera rigs that will surely bring more thrill to 360-degree video shooting – for a price.

One of the rigs is the six-camera GoPro Omni rig. It is a case that contains six GoPro Hero4 cameras; all mounted facing different directions. The other one, the more expensive GoPro Odyssey, is a 16-camera rig designed to capture amazing 360-degree video.

The Omni does the capturing by making all six cameras interact with one primary camera. While some might see it as a plain enclosure that houses the cameras, it does more than that: it activates all of the cameras, making them start and stop recording all at the same time.

The Omni rig costs $4,999.99 including six GoPro Hero4 cameras, six mini USB cables, a smart remote, six 32 GB microSD cards, six card readers and the GoPro Kolor stitching software. Engadget notes that with GoPro’s current partnerships and content makers, the Omni could be used for virtual reality purposes.

If you have six cameras (either by yourself or through a collaboration with friends), there is an option to buy the rig for $1,499.99 but without the software and cameras. There is the need to personally stitch the video into a whole should buyers choose to buy the cheaper option.

The GoPro Odyssey, on the other hand, combines 16 GoPro Hero4 black cameras in one round rig to produce panoramic stereoscopic 8K30 videos. It works with Jump Assembler, a cloud-based software made by Google.

While the Odyssey might sound appealing, it will only be made available to select customers through a limited access program, and reportedly costs a whopping $15,500.

Preorders for the GoPro Omni rig can be made starting Tuesday, April 19.
