Tennis ace Duan Yingying of China rallied past fellow Chinese Han Xinyun 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 to move into the women's singles quarterfinals of the WTA 2016 Jiangxi Open in Nanchang International Sports Center on Thursday.

There were a few surprises at the Jiangxi Women's Tennis Open in Nanchang. Second seed Zheng Saisai was booted out by Junri Namigata in straight sets and just recently, fourth seed Hsieh Su-Wei was toppled by Chang Kai-Chen. Though there are a few seeds remaining in the draw, it could possibly be a tournament sweep for former world no. 1 Jelena Jankovic who's looking for her first title of the year.
