Charles R. Cross is a journalist who has known the band Nirvana from its humble beginnings to success. Cross was one of the first people given a tip by radio station KXTRX about the death of Nirvana's front man. Cross was also the first journalist to be tapped in writing Kurt Cobain's biography and two more books based on the band. In celebration of the birthday of former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, now a front man of Foo Fighters, Cross has shared five behind the scene stories about Nirvana, Huffington Post reports.
