Facebook Begins Move to New Garden Roofed Campus

Facebook is moving over 2,000 employees over to its new Menlo Park, California headquarters designed by American-Canadian architect Lori Goler.
The new HQ is all to do with Facebook's relentless quest for productivity while keeping the space easy. Goler claims the HQ suits Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, not one for huge appearances.

That said, the new campus does have a few eccentricities, including a garden roof that spans 430,000 feet. This should give Facebook employees more than enough time to "clear their mind" about any constraints in the code.
Inside, it's more of the same, minus the green. Facebook has an open office policy, meaning people can mingle with all types. It started when Facebook first got to Silicon Valley, with Zuckerberg sitting in with all of the coders instead of in an executive office.
This culture around Facebook has grown ever since, allowing a mesh of engineers from all places on Facebook. Having this active, no barriers workplace apparently allows more creativity and productivity, according to Zuckerberg.
Silicon Valley has quite a few new buildings rising, including Apple's spaceship HQ and Google's glass and greenland campus. Both are looking at big open spaces, but instead of dotting them around the campus, Facebook has decided to put its own green space on the roof.
