It's now official. After dating for more than a year, Chinese actor Qi Yuwu and Singaporean actress Joanne Peh have tied the knot on September 9!
Insiders say the couple registered their marriage at the Movenpick Heritage Hotel in Sentosa, Singapore on Tuesday at 3:30 PM local time. The wedding ceremony was said to have been attended only by family members and closest friends from Singapore and Guangzhou, China, making it a very private family affair.

Artiste Management Division released a statement, saying that Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu's wedding celebrations wouldn't be held until next year.
Initial photos from the private Sentosa wedding showed the couple saying their 'I do's' in front of a Merlion statue, the iconic symbol of Singapore. The photos came from celebrity stylist David Gan's Instagram account.
David Gan has also uploaded a photo of the couple while standing in front of the altar with the minister who officiated their wedding. The photo, which was uploaded today, also shows the elaborate veil of the bride. He captioned the photo, "Another one of my daughters is now married."
Since Joanne and Qi's relationship was made public last year, they've constantly been under media scrutiny.
Joanne had said in an interview last April that her relationship with the Chinese actor is still "on its honeymoon phase", and that they were not yet ready to take things to the next level.
She intimated, however, that they were considering building a family together, but added that she and Qi have no permanent plans yet.
In light of these previous statements by the actress, the unprecedented news of their wedding on Tuesday had caught everyone by surprise.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
