Disney’s 2017 Beauty and the Beast continues to sweep the box office all over the world. In China alone, Bill Condon’s masterpiece was reported by Shanghaiiist.com to have earned a whopping $45 Million during the previous weekend. This, apparently, shows that the gay-related controversies the movie has been facing since its opening date last week do not affect the inclination of the Chinese crowd towards seeing the much-awaited remake.
