Huawei claims that its cloud business is by far its fastest-growing money maker. Huawei aims to supply servers, processors, and other vital equipment to cloud computing companies. Although Huawei still considers its cloud computing division to be in its infancy, the company is optimistic about it.

Huawei's working collaboration with SAP and Intel helped ushered the company's into the cloud computing market. To diversify its cloud business, Huawei is also working with Accenture to develop enterprise cloud solutions for clients around the globe, according to Nation Multimedia.

Unlike companies like Alibaba and Amazon which directly provide cloud computing solutions, Huawei aims to do business in the most fundamental component of the market; infrastructure.

In a statement, Huawei chief executive Ken Hu said, "Cloud will penetrate in industries, including traditional industries globally. Adopting cloud computing is how they digitize their business."

Various industries in China, Huawei's native home, are slowly moving their data to the cloud and Huawei sees this as a great opportunity to do business. The Chinese government is also known to prefer local tech companies over foreign ones, a big factor in favor of Huawei as China has one of the world's biggest tech markets.
