It appears that the new dual camera setup is the newest trend for smartphones. The latest to flaunt this design is Chinese tech giant Huawei's upcoming Mate 9 device.

In the past couple of weeks, a handful of leaked renders have unceremoniously revealed the design and hardware specs of the Huawei Mate 9. The latest teaser poster of the Mate 9 is believed to be an official poster from Huawei, which was leaked ahead of the official release of the smartphone.

The new Huawei Mate 9 posted was shared on the social networking site Weibo, according to Giz China.

The poster shows that the Huawei Mate 9 would feature a dual camera design with two 20-megapixel sensors. Powering the smartphone is the latest Kirin 960 chipset. The poster also revealed the near-bezel less design of the Mate 9 with its fingerprint scanner situated on the back side just below the camera sensors.

The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to hit the market before the end of the year. The phone is expected to run on the upcoming version of the Android mobile operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat, with Huawei's Emotion UI 5.0 on top. The Kirin 960 chipset is expected to come with 6GB of memory, according to GSM Arena. The Mate 9 is likely to come in two variants (32GB and 64GB) and both would support microSD card.
