Lenovo Moto M, which will be codenamed "Kung Fu," will be released in two variants carrying two different model numbers. The XT1663 will be the international variant, while the XT1662 will be released in China. Although it has not been specified which countries will see the Moto M, Soft Pedia reported that it is likely to be limited in Asia.

The Moto M (XT-1662) is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a MediaTek MT6755 chipset clocked in at 2.1GHz and the Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It will sport an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, a 32GB internal memory, a 4GB RAM, a 16MP main and 8MP secondary cameras, and 3000-mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Moto M (XT-1663) is more of a compact version, sporting a 4.6-inch display. It will be powered with an octa-core 1.9 GHz MediaTek MT6750 processor and a Mali-T860 GPU. It will come with 32GB internal memory, 3GB RAM, and 16MP main and 8MP secondary camera combo, the International Business Times reported.

Soft Pedia reported the Moto M will sport a full-metal body but has not home button in the front. Prices are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to be lower than the Moto Z series.

Lenovo Moto M has already received a certification from the Chinese TENAA regulatory agency, with IBT hinting it will be coming out soon.
