Motorola Moto M is Now Official in China

Motorola has officially released its latest smartphone Moto M on its Chinese websites.

Motorola's Moto M has officially been listed on the company's Chinese website, a few days after the its press renders were leaked.

Moto M features a water-resistant design and a metal unibody with new design language and antenna bands on the top and the bottom, the GSM Arena noted. The unit's corners are round and has narrower edges.

Its fingerprint sensor has been relocated at the back, just below the camera sensor. Unlike the Moto Z series, the Moto M does not have the square button, the Indian Express reported.

Motorola's new phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p display Super AMOLED display at 401 ppi. It is equipped with a 2.2-GHz octacore 64-bit MediaTek P15 processor, a Mali T860 GPU, 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, and 32GB storage, expandable up to 1228 GB. It runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.

It sports a 16 megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual LED flash, and Auto HDR. It has a f/2.0 aperture and 1um pixel size. The front camera is 8 megapixel with 1.12 um pixel size.

The Moto M is also packed with a 3050 mAh battery with fast charging, type C USB, and OTG support. It has a dual SIM support and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, according to the Android Police. The unit's dimensions are 151.35 x 75.35 x 7.85mm and weighs 163 grams.

Talking about connectivity, the Moto M has Bluetooth version 4.1 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz band MIMO. It boasts of a Dolby Atmos audio boos feature too.

Other than the fingerprint sensor, it is also equipped with vibration meter, electronic compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyro and proximity sensor.

Motorola's Moto M will be available in gold and silver color options. The unit starts at 1999 yuan ($295).
