Hisense A2 Smartphone Spotted on TENAA Certification

An upcoming new smartphone from Hisense has been spotted by China's telecommunication equipment certification authority or commonly known as TENAA. The new device was dubbed as the Hisense A2 smartphone, which features AMOLED display screen and E-ink dual displays.

As per TENAA listing, the upcoming Hisense A2 smartphone sports an all-metallic body featuring a 2.5D glass on the front panel. It has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display resolution, whereas the E-ink display on the rear panel comes with a 5.17-inches qHD (960 x 540 pixels) screen. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz.

The Hisense A2 comes with a massive 4GB of RAM onboard and 64GB internal memory storage, which can be further expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. On the photography side, the phone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Interestingly, user can use the rear camera of the device for selfies with the black and white e-ink display.

It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box, along with Lenovo's customized user interface on top. The device is backed by a non-removable 3,000mAh capacity battery inside.

Other features the device offers include dual SIM dual standby, 4G VoLTE network support, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The phone measure body dimension of 157.25 × 76.8 × 8.4 mm and weighs around 190 grams.

Meanwhile, there is no information yet on the launching for the upcoming Hisense A2 smartphone.
