Asus Unveils Refreshed Gaming Laptops With Kaby Lake Chips

When Intel released the Kaby Lake processors, several PC manufacturers quickly embraced the new chips and integrate it into their products. Recently, PC maker Asus released several new gaming laptops with Intel's seventh generation processors.

On top of the list is the Asus ROG GX800VH, which packs a massive 18-inch display. At the heart of this beast is an Intel Core i7 7820HK, and handling the graphics are two GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI configuration. The GX800VH comes with a new liquid cooling system called Hydro Overclock System, which is an external dock that can be connected to select Asus laptops, according to PC Gamer.

Next is the ROG G701VI. It has a Core i7 7820HK processor and can be configured to have up to 64GB of DDR4 memory. It has a GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card and a 17.3-inch Full HD display with 120Hz refresh rate and support for Nvidia G-Sync option, according to Windows Central. Another model of this laptop has a 4K IPS display.

The ROG 752VS is a 17.3-inch laptop with an Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor and memory configuration of up to 64GB. Handling the graphics is a GeForce GTX 1070, and just like the G701VI, its display supports Full HD resolution with G-Sync and 120Hz refresh rate. The laptop can be upgraded to have a 4K display as well.

Lastly, Asus will be releasing refreshed versions of its ROG Strix laptops. Asus is yet to release the official price of the laptops, but the company confirmed that processor choices will range to options like the Core i5 7300HQ and Core i7 7700HQ. Graphics cards options will most likely start with GeForce GTX 1050.
