Upcoming ZTE Blade A520 Smartphone Gets Wi-Fi Alliance Certification

An upcoming ZTE smartphone dubbed as the ZTE Blade A520 has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA), following its certification to the FCC in the United States. The device is said to feature the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

As per listed on Wi-Fi Alliance, the upcoming ZTE Blade A520 features a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS LCD capacitive display screen. Under the hood, the handheld device will be powered by an unknown octa-core Snapdragon processor. It is expected to have a massive 3GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 16GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Wi-Fi alliance also revealed that the upcoming ZTE Blade A520 runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box. Powering the device is a 2,400mAh capacity battery. It was also listed on the certification website that the phone will support the usual cellular network standards including LTE, WCDMA, and GSM.

As for the exterior design of the ZTE Blade A520, leaked images suggest that it will feature what looks like a metallic casing with a single camera module, LED flash support on the back panel, and two rear facing speakers. A thin metallic framing appears to be surrounding the flat display screen of the smartphone. In overall, the images suggest that the ZTE Blade A520 is not aimed at the high-end market.

Apart from these, no other details were revealed on the ZTE Blade A520 smartphone and its availability in the market.
