Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has officially launched its latest entry-level smartphone dubbed as the OPPO A57 in Pakistan. The smartphone is currently priced in the country at Rs. 24,899 ($373.64).

The launch of the OPPO A57 smartphone in Pakistan was overseen by OPPO's Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business, Sky Li. "When we saw the demand for the great 16 MP selfie camera on the F1s, we set out to bring that experience to an even wider range of users," Li said during the event.

The OPPO A57 smartphone features a 5.2-inch LCD display screen with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels and a 2.5D curved glass on the front panel. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz, which paired with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM onboard and comes with a built-in 32GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 256 GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The OPPO A57 smartphone sports a 13-megapixels front-facing camera and a 16-megapixels rear sensor in the back. The phone runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with OPPO's latest Color OS 3.0 customized user interface laid on top. Fueling the device is a non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh capacity battery.

Other features the OPPO A57 smartphone offers include Dual nano-SIM, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

The OPPO A57 smartphone is available in Gold and Rose Gold color.
