Lohan is said to have forgotten her lines during the first show. According to the actress, she met up with Pacino during his trip to London this week and he offered her some valuable tips on stage craft.

Lohan told a media outlet that she was staying at the Corinthia Hotel when she happened to meet the actor, who is currently promoting the film adaptation of Oscar Wilde's 'Salome'.

"I'm a huge fan and he gave me some really good advice," says Lohan.

The 'Mean Girls' star says that Pacino told her that starring in a play is one of the best things she could do especially if she is vying for roles in other productions in the future.

Additionally, Lohan cited that Pacino himself told her that he is proud of her for doing a play.

"Then randomly, 'Scarface' was on TV later at home and I watched it," the 28-year old actress said. "It was really cool."

On the other hand, 'Speed-the-Plow' will be opening at the Playhouse Theatre on October 2.

Meanwhile, just the previous Friday, Pacino announced that he will be returning to the London stage in the spring of 2016 for the new stage production of Wilde's 'Salome' where he will be portraying King Herod.

Pacino has played the role on Broadway back in 2003 and returned to portray the same character in 2006 for the Los Angeles show. This year, Pacino took on the role once more in the film adaptation of the same production which premiered in the UK last September 21.
