Despite only months since the big three of Lebron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving came together under the banner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, James proves his genius by already teaching his teammates the offensive system of head coach David Blatt.

Blatt has just finished a recent stint with the Maccabi Tel Aviv. His latest coaching season saw him mount an amazing comeback against CSKA Moscow in the Euroleague semifinal game.

He then led his team to win the championships in Real Madrid. Blatt subsequently left the Euroleague and was installed as head coach of the Cavaliers.

Blatt's offensive plans for the Cavaliers are quite intricate, seeking to utilize the skills of his three superstars. However, it won't be hard as he will have help with James.

Ken Berger from CBSSports reported an anecdote showing just that.

Berger recounted how one day after practice, Blatt ended the session and told everyone to go and rest as it had been a long day.

The coaching staff then got together and went through with their evening meeting.

When they returned to the court, they saw James and four other Cavaliers players on the floor. James was walking them through the offense, showing understanding through the one to five positions.

While it is hard to say if James had really mastered Blatt's new system, his genius-level basketball IQ, as well as his photographic memory on the basketball court surfaces and shows that he is really looking to better himself and his teammates.

It is a long way to go to the top. Time will tell whether Blatt's offensive system, a star-studded team, and James' basketball prowess are enough to get them a championship.
