"Harry Potter" series author J.K. Rowling drove fans crazy when she tweeted a riddle that was basically cryptic and confusing.

"Cry, foe! Run amok! Fa awry! My wand won't tolerate this nonsense," the British author wrote on October 6.

Someone from Reddit, however, pointed out that Rowling's tweet was actually a perfect anagram for "Harry returns! Won't say any details now. A week off. No comment"

This post brought out so much joy from Potterheads all over the world.

The fans gleefully tweeted their excitement and shared articles that talked about the possibility of "Harry Potter" returning on screen.

However, their hopes for another "Harry Potter" movie was shot down when Twitter user Emily Strong (@EmyBemy2) correctly guessed the answer to the riddle.

"@jkrowling Newt Scamander only meant to stay in New York for a few hours... #anagram," she tweeted to the author.

Rowling tweeted her fan back saying, "YES!!!!!!!!!!!! People, we have a winner!"

The author clearly enjoyed the frazzled fans guessing what her tweet could have meant.

"OK, the next riddle is... kidding. As I said (was it only 2 days ago?) I've got a novel to finish and a screenplay to tweak," she wrote.

She also expanded further on what the riddle was about.

"Newt only meant to stay in New York for a few hours. Circumstances ensured that he remained... for the length of a movie, anyway. X," she tweeted five minutes after her scheduled announcement.

Although there would not be another "Harry Potter" flick, it is nice to know that J.K. Rowling is directly involved in the production of the "Harry Potter" spinoff. Knowing Rowling, and her incredible wit and creativity, the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" movie would not fall short of fans' expectations.
