The Cleveland Cavaliers has won their third consecutive preseason game without star player LeBron James 106-100 against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Cavalier coach David Blatt gave James some rest while Kyrie Irving is sidelined due to an ankle sprain along with Tristan Thompson who's nursing a sore shoulder.

But despite three starters not playing, Kevin Love and Dion Waiters provided the fire power for Cleveland.

Love scored 18 of his 25 points in the first half including five of seven three-pointers where he did most of the damage.

The power forward's outside shooting created gaps in between the basket which guard Dion Waiters capitalized on as he attacked the hoop relentlessly on his way to a 23 point game.

Guard Matthew Dellavedova started his second consecutive game at point and proved that he can provide backup duties as he moved the ball well on both sides of the court, contributing a game high of nine assists and five rebounds.

A.J. Price also showed his worth at point as he came off the bench to provide nine points and two assists.

Blatt said that he wanted to take a look at Shawn Marion's natural position at small forward as he took over James' position and contributed 11 points plus a team high of seven rebounds. The 36-year-old veteran can still play defense inside the paint.

Rookie Jabari Parker, 2nd overall pick in last June's NBA Draft, proved his worth for the Bucks as he top scored with 18 points and pulled down three rebounds.

Cleveland will be travelling to Cincinnati and play hosts to last season's Eastern Conference runners-up the Indiana Pacers as James will be suiting up in their fourth preseason game.

The Cavs have three exhibition games left after the Pacers against the Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bullas and the Memphis Grizzlies.
