Stan Lee Goes Bollywood with 'Chakra: The Invincible'

Stan Lee, the legendary creator of famous Marvel superheroes, reveals that his next plan is to create a Bollywood version of a live-action superhero movie through 'Chakra: The Invincible'.

According to media reports, despite the limit in the details that have been revealed to the media, Lee is said to have began meeting with top directors and actors in the Bollywood scene for the upcoming film adaptation.

Based on a statement that the comic legend has released, he has already set up meetings with actors and producers in the Indian film scene. Lee seems to confident about the upcoming film, expressing that he believes that 'Chakra: The Invincible' will become a huge hit in India as well as in other countries.

The 91-year old comic figure is said to have created the comic version of 'Chakra: The Invincible' in 2011. Said comic features an Indian boy names Raju Rai who originates from Mumbai, India.

The character is described as a tech genius who would help develop a kind of suit which is supposed to activate the 'mystical chakras' of the body. Rai then defends the city of Mumbai from villains and threats.

However, according sources, the live-action film adaptation of 'Chakra' is said to be featuring a grown-up version of Rai who will fight against his long-time enemy called Boss Yama.

Lee stated that he finds the incredible story of 'Chakra' as one of his latest and most exciting superhero creations. The legendary comic figure says that it is sure to captivate the audience in India as well as around the globe with the character's adventures.

Said production is scheduled to start in the latter part of next year of early in 2016.

On the other hand, an animated film adaptation of 'Chakra: The Invincible' has made its debut on Cartoon Network India last year in November.
