In spite of the iPhone 6 Plus bendgate issue and the iOS 8 update problems, Apple's next-gen flagship smartphones were well-received. Its sales on the first weekend reached 10 million units, exceeding analyst expectations.

Because of the iPhone 6 Plus high demand, customers who pre-ordered the device continue to wait for delivery time. Reports say Apple has delayed the new iPad's mass production to increase the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus production. The company is expected to reveal more information on its Oct. 16 event.
