According to the actress, she is very thankful for her husband who became her mentor on the new bakery. Chan said, "Since I love eating cookies, my main goal is to send out positive energy into the world."

The 35-year old actress explained the name behind her business, saying that she has decided on it as it means 'to be blessed'. She also shared that the cookies that they sell come with blessing cards with messages that she hopes would make people feel loved whenever they buy and eat the product.

Chan, who emphasized that she will be focusing on work before having a baby, stated that she has established the business because she wanted to become her own boss for a change. The actress seems very dedicated to her new business, saying that she has put a lot of energy and effort in the work done before the opening.

Furthermore, Chan stated that she makes the cookies herself. Her husband, William Liu, praised her for trying despite still being in the learning process when it comes to baking.

"Baking cookies is fun," says Chan proudly.

The actress also expressed her confidence that Blesscuit would do well in the market. Chan said that even before they've opened, they have received a lot of orders.

"My friends went crazy and bought hundreds," said the actress. "I hope they can become a souvenir in Hong Kong."

Furthermore, to promote her new business, Sharon sent cookies to her friends, allowing them to sample the baked goods first prior to the grand opening.
